Ive been on a little break! (obviously!)

okay people..so I've obviously been on a little break. During my long March-July break from blogging. For the most part I have been hanging out with my friends and hitting the beach because of he heat! A great thing that happened was my sisters arrival from Tennessee to Michigan! We had a great visit over Easter but now she lives up here! On a sad note, a very important person in our family,my grandfather, passed away after a battle with Cancer. He also had MS for numerous years. He always stayed positive and had an amazing outlook on life despite the challenges. I was somewhat prepared for this loss but still struggled with losing such an importnant person to me. ANYWAY...I will hopefully continue to keep faithful to my blogging and not stray! keep fabulous and stay tuned!!!

Some things I love!

Well..since i'm new to the blogging world,I thought I would share some things I love...
Old Hollywood movies...ANYTHING with Ginger Rogers. Shes not the only one I love though...there are so many! Just watched "The Snake Pit" with Olivia de Havilland I really doubt that I spelled her name right. It was such a good movie! Its old but still packs a punch about mental illness..some more things I love,french fries from anywhere..lol and opera. any opera.
I also love handbags..I have lots! I'll make sure and blog which bag i'm taking where!
still getting ready for the trip to Tennessee! I also love to sing and right now i'm singing "Time After Time" ala Kathryn Grayson. Sorry my posts are so ADD...but thats how I am!

Getting ready for the south!

Well my trip to Tennessee is next week! I'm soo freaking excited. Well many outfits are being choosen i'm working on what to wear and when! Easter Sunday is going to be good to be around family and all that jazz. Whats new with me is my Ginger Rogers high. I am in love with all things Ginger! I am a big fan of hers and this week on TCM she is the star of the month. So every Wednesday is Ginger movies all night! I am also in the middle of her book "My Story" about her life. Well thats about all i'm up to as of right now..pics are coming from Tennessee as soon as I come home! STAY TUNED :)

Day 2!

Well i'm sitting in the public library one of my many peace and quiet places. I live in a hectic household! I mean when it comes down to it, its not THAT bad but me time is important! So a little more about me is that I was born and raised in Sarnia,Ontario,Canada but moved to Murfreesboro,Tennessee when I was young. I moved here to Michigan 3 years ago in July. We make visits to Tn and I love it! I miss everyone! We are making a trip on Easter and i'll have to tell you all about our trip! All I plan to use this thing for is like a diary type thing. So I will spill my guts! Thats all for today nothing too interesting to report..STAY TUNED :)
